• Directly or indirectly harasses another user, involves the transmission of “junk mail,” “chain letters” or unsolicited mass mailing or “spamming”, promotes or encourages illegal conduct and activities, promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of copyrighted work, provides information about illegal activities of any nature whatsoever, interferes with another user’s use and enjoyment of the Website.

a) That the illegal and / or unauthorized use of the Website, including without limitation, collecting usernames and/or email addresses and/or other information of registered members by electronic or other means for any purpose including sending unsolicited emails and unauthorized framing of or linking to the Website, is strictly prohibited.
b) Not to engage in any unauthorized interception of the data stream to or from the Website.

Payments

We presently offer othe following modes of payment:

We do not assume any responsibility and take no liability of whatsoever nature in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to you on account of technical glitches during a transaction.

All payments made against the purchases on the Website by you shall be compulsorily in Indian Rupees. We do not accept payment in foreign currency.

You acknowledge, agree, understand and confirm that the credit / debit card details provided by you for purchasing products on the Website are correct and accurate and you shall not use a credit / debit card which you are not authorized to use. We will not be responsible for any credit / debit card fraud. The liability for use of a card fraudulently shall at all times be on you.

Shipping and Delivery

We will endeavor to deliver the purchased products within the time frames specified against the respective product. While we ensure that our products are shipped though professional packaging and freight forwarding companies, we cannot and do not assume any liability for damage occurring during transit.

Cancellation and Refunds

We reserve the right to cancel any order without assigning any reason for doing so. You will however be promptly notified about all cancellations. In such an event you may either opt for an entire refund of the amounts paid or avail of a store credit (i.e. credit limit) for the said amount which you may utilize whilst shopping on the Website in future.

We do not offer refunds for orders cancelled by you. Therefore, please scrutinize your order prior to purchase. Should you wish to cancel an order, we will offer you a credit limit for the corresponding amount which you may utilize in your future purchases.

To cancel an order, please write to ighthose@lighthouseindia.net within 24 hours of placing your order specifying all necessary particulars including your name, address, contact number and order number.

In addition to the above, we will also offer you a store credit

a) If the product received by you has been substantially damaged in transit. To avail of the store credit, provide us with a high resolution photograph (indicating the damage), together with other particulars such as your name, address, contact number and order number – within 48 hours of receipt of the substantially damaged product. The above information may be sent to lighthouse@lighthouseindia.net

If we concur with you that the damage is substantial, we will request you to return the substantially damaged product to us in its original packing together with the original invoice at such address as will be communicated to you at the relevant time.

Once we receive the product in the manner aforementioned, you account will be credited with a store credit for the amount paid by you within a period of 48 hours.

b) In the event the product received by you is not that which was originally ordered, we will render our best efforts to rectify the error and deliver to you, at the earliest, the original product ordered.

If we are unable to provide you with the original product we may offer you a store credit for the said amount. To avail of the store credit, provide us with a high resolution photograph (of the wrong product), together with other particulars such as your name, address, contact number and order number – within 48 hours of receipt of the wrong product. If we concur with you that there has been an error in executing your order, we will request you to return the wrong product to us in its original packing together with the original invoice at such address as will be communicated to you at the relevant time.

Once we receive the product in the manner aforementioned, your account will be credited with a store credit for the amount paid by you within a period of 48 hours.

If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of delivery we will assume that you are satisfied with the product and have no grievance in relation to the same.

All goods must be returned to us via track-able shipping method (e.g. Blue Dart) such that the returned product is received by us within 15 business days of you having first received the product. The tracking details must be forwarded to us promptly upon dispatch of the consignment.

We advise all our customers to accurately declare the value of the shipment (being returned to us). We do not assume any liability for damage, during transit, for products dispatched by you. In the event the consignment reaches us with any further damage (i.e. more than indicated in the photographs sent by you) you will not be entitled to any store credit.

In no event shall we be liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind in connection with a transaction, even if we have been informed in advance of the possibility of such damages.
